The Arena

Elynea and Jery's three-master was sailing on the dark water of the North-Sea. The decided to drop the anchors offshore, at a reasonable distance from the coast. They took a rowing boat to reach one of these heavy sand beaches. The sky was low, grey and motionless. Such severe conditions, what a poor land...

Their long sea travelling was sprinckeled with fierce battles, and the ship needed some repairing which would take a few weeks. Elynea and Jery decided to take advantage of these days of rest to discover this small country named eBelgium.

After having run through that land for weeks, they started to understand in a better way the local uses. They noticed that five parties were ruling the country ! The names of these parties were whispered with fear in the dark alleys of any cities of this noble land, and their struggle for the power was as close as ruthless.

The influence they had at the highest level of the state was a fragile equilibium :

- Bro's B4 Ho's : 15 %
- United Left Alliance : 23 %
- Belgium for Belgians : 23 %
- Belgian Communist Party : 23 %
- All TOgethers : 15 %

Relentless civil wars between these parties undermined continuously the country. We could frequently hear in the Congress' alleys the sound of some battles and smell the powder's odor. Not a single week was ending without having a distinguished politician strangled in the gutter of a dead-end street. No one could tell where this terrible situation would lead the country.

It's in this context that the two pirates decided to build an arena in order to bring the parties face to face with each other somewhere else than in the dark voting booth. The point is to judge which party shows the best its skills, intelligence, knowledge, and, above all, its flawless cohesion.

They hoped that every political party would have the guts to sign up for this arena ! Each one will have to choose one (and only one) spokesperson, a delegate. This glorious fighter will be the only one responsible for giving us the answers of its team (its party). He will be the intermediary for its whole party, which will have to help him and prove its team spirit.

In order to open this game to everyone, in addition to the five parties, a sixth team is welcomed : the one for the simple citizens (anyone who is not member of a party). The first citizen to sign up here will be the delegate for this sixth team and will have to get organised with any other citizens that wishes to participate.

What is all this about ?
You can't really believe that a pirate will tell you in advance what you're signing up for !
Just be aware that you'll get terrible tests and that each one will give points to the best teams.
The whole game should last between 2 weeks and 1 month.
The only rule to know by subscribing is that Elynea and I are the only bosses in here, able to take any decisions about this game. And we're pirates !

Landlubber trolls, go away, there'll be nothing to troll about with us in here. We want this game to be clean. For any comment or question, do it by private messages. If you're not able to respect this, the game will be shut down.

Don't pay attention to what Elynea said, I just drank some rum with her... and well...

The first game will start as soon as the teams' delegates will be determined. We let a couple of days for that.
In case there's a clear lack of interest, we'll abandon the arena to the sand, go back to our ship and sail away.

That would be very nice, I agree.

But the delegate's role is just to be responsible for its party for this game, and make sure to give me an answer. So I just need in each party somebody motivated. I don't need the Party President (PP) if he doesn't show up or want to get involved. Just a matter of motivation to play a game.
And for every test, the delegate will not be supposed to answer everything by its own, but he can be helped by all the people motivated from it's party. Just a delegate, nothing to be afraid of.
So if PP shows up here, that's perfect. If not, it doesn't really matter, and any other motivated member can fit to the role. I prefer a motivated member than a non-motivated PP.

So far, I just have one delegate for sure : jamster737. Still waiting for the 5 parties...

No problem shadow. We let more time in case somebody else from you party want to get in, it would be too bad that you're just the only party missing.

For exams and so on, I repeat that the delegate can be helped by anybody from his party, it's gonna be a team stuff, don't worry. But he's the only one from whom we'll accept the answers : up to him to organise the help provided by his party.
