Discussion Night

Hello all,

As all of you know by now, there are clearly boiling tensions in Belgium. It is clear that we need to try a different way of achieving peace within Belgium. Therefore, there I would like a Discussion Night on the IRC channel, #Belgian.Unity

The Discussion Night will be on Saturday, 17th, at 12:00 erepublik time, which I believe is 9 PM Belgium time. We will try to better understand our problems through mutual discussions which will have NO insulting allowed. I want a clean discussion, and it is my hope that we will be able to ease the disunity in Belgium for once and for all. Until then...

Yeah...I have a marathon as well, followed by a pledge drive with the Red Cross...oh, and then I'm volunteering with the humane society...

Olv and me suggested to wait before posting an answer when one feels the urge to do so. Waiting helps to restrain from making bad calls. Perhaps that's what you mean Ward ? Surprised

We can also talk and exchange views on this forum. Actually, i think the forum structure is good for the in-depth debate that we need. This in-depth debate is actually ongoing on several threads.

I'm unable to attend the proposed meeting since I work the night shift until monday morning this week, and don't have the dedicated time and connection quality (GSM/EDGE) for chatting.

With too many people talking it will be chaos.

Enjoy finding someone both sides agree is "neutral"... But anyway, I agree that a subforum made specifically for this "issue" aka the Belgian Civil War is the best course of action. That way it isn't subject to the same flaws as an IRC version of this discussion.

Well, perhaps members involved in the quarrel have ideas about neutral members whom they would trust to moderate this debate ? Wink

Btw, I just wanted to say that reading the forum tonight was enjoyable, very few fights (in comparison to the last I dunno... 10 days ?) and members trying to work together. Thank you all for your efforts.
