My biggest question why isnt it done by the former CP???'It seems to be a big issue but I think it's more a kind of Vendetta what is going on.

Re: Review of Admins
Jamster if you have a problem with an admin you can always talk to another admin about your concern.
We can always discuss these matters in the admin area.

I would like a review to see if it can be changed to make it more effective. I find it sad how the admin team has become a club where nobody refuses to goInnos28 wrote:Jamster if you have a problem with an admin you can always talk to another admin about your concern.

Sorry Jamster if I offend you because I don't mean you alone but "the fight" what is already longer going on and to me, and I know more people, get enough of all the fighting from both "camps".
So sorry that it looks now personal that wasn't it.

Re: Review of Admins
You actually have a good point Jamster.
We usually choose new admins from our moderator group. As a way of trial.
But so far we haven't received many applications to become a mod.
(aside from the mods added by congress, who are doing great btw)

Oh and before someone decides to reply to my post, I really don't care what your explanation is. I don't have time to hear some half intelligent response, I want action!

Re: Review of Admins
Nobody said you couldn't have a review, most replies that you got was that others don't agree that it's needed.
You're the ones simply not doing one while asking for it... Does someone that doesn't feel like it have to do it in your place as well ? How do you propose to review the admins ?
Stop complaining, find the solution to do it and act.

Re: Review of Admins
well isn't this topic some kind of a review?
and if you want an official congress thing, ask your local congressmember to do so

Re: Review of Admins
i am not a congress member i would ask a group of congress members all with different opinions to sit down and discuss it. I would like to play a part if they would allow it.Nohjis wrote:Nobody said you couldn't have a review, most replies that you got was that others don't agree that it's needed.

Well if the congressmembers that believe we should review admins aren't willing to start the ball rolling, I can open a thread in the section you want it to be opened as a friendly gesture for a fellow party member. But may I suggest first trying to contact those people ?
Re: Review of Admins
Okay, if I contact a member of congress and propose this, you will start a thread proposing this?
And this is what I was talking about a half intelligent response. You shouldn't have to tell him to ask his congressman, or even suggest that he does so. You should be competent enough to say, "Sure, I'll start a thread proposing this offer and we'll see where it goes". Instead we get this.......wow, that's all I can say to this....wow.

Re: Review of Admins
Sorry for my half-witted comment. I promise I'll try to refrain myself in the future when a congress member, a moderator and a former country president quote your reaction instead of taking action.
Yes, if you really wish me to start a thread in the congress section for something I personally disagree with, I will, just like I brought a proposal to vote 5 minutes after posting it in the debate thread when asked to do so by a non-congress member who started a congress debate (because that's also a possibility) even if I disagreed with the timing.
Your best chance of success at passing an Admin review however is that a congress-member who supports this starts up a congress debate, takes the time to write out a law-proposal (with your help for instance) and brings it to vote after 24 hours of debate.

why can't the admins make the moderation logs publicly accessible?

Nohjis was not referring to himself, RTG, but to those who quoted you, all of whom have held one or more of the offices he names and should know how to get a review going if they want to.

In that case, I apologize. After you said that Mary, I reread the sentence and noticed I read it wrong.
In a way you are right then. Still, you shouldn't look at it that way, you should look at it as them not doing it so you step up to the plate and do the right thing.

However if it is a simple 'review', then I can't see what is anything difference with this topic, where people are commenting about the admin's work so everyone can make it's conclusions.
If you find that something else has to happen in congress, every eBelgium citizen, like yourself, has speakingrights in public congress, they can propose a fully written proposal to be taken into voting, ...
