Why not ordered to fight for our country.

So now I sit in the BCF.
Today I get ordered to fight for Macedonia. Why?
Sure you don't want to win the battle in wallonia. You'll have a good reason for that but what is up with the BCF orders? Like the BCF is going to make us win. Why aren't we ordered to defend our own country? At least it feels good to fight for your own country. Even if you get defeated...

The idea is to lose aVegan. We get wiped asap, end the war, TR our regions back.

Ok, like I said there will be a good reason to loose.
But giving BCF orders to take part in the resistance won't change the fact we loose. But at least it is more fun than needing to move to fight somewhere that you don't care about.

*shrug* I don't really know... I'm not terribly active in the military anyway xP

I believe he did mean RW. Also, A Vegan, you don't have to move to Macedonia, as they are our allies, but I don't much blame you if you didn't want to fight that particular battle. The only real difference it will make, in my opinion, is that you will not get the rewards for following the daily orders.

The rewards are more or less the only reason why I join an army. That and to take part in defending my country.

I think the strategy of our CP isn't a good one. He invited a bunch of foreign people into our country, and that's it. We wait till our country is wiped and the we TRY to RW it back.

NOO !! we need to FIGHT while we have NE bonusses, we need to MPP several countries and make them fight for us, we need to offer supplies to foreign soldiers on #Mercenaries , we need all our MU's fighting for eBelgium and not for some ally !

We defeated the French couple of months ago (when shadow was CP and temu was MoD), but now we're loosing hard. I know that ONE has a treaty with France but that doesn't mean that they can't fight for us till we have our regions back!!

Indeed, it's hard to stop the French, but it isn't impossible !

I'm a bit mystified by that strategy myself, especially since the RW in Wallonia is being lost badly at present. Why do we have the foreign soldiers here, if not to fight to win?

If you are in a belgian region, (for the moment flanders) you don't have to move to fight for macedonia.

According to Ward we are supposed to loose that RW since they'll defend that one hard ....

But that war is where the DO is set for BAF. Am I missing something?

atleast now belgium has a choice to either be occupied by france, or occupied by macedonia, or BOTH!

That and the 2nd regiment happily fought for eBelgium all day with its order. Its because we don't like you that we made you fight for Macedonia in the stinky 5th regiment.

Or you could, you know, fight for eBelgium on your own, but no, I guess you'd rather complain.

It would be also rather useless to come with a strategy and do not use all the possibilities to follow that strategy.

Yes it could be chosen to fight strongly, however many people find it more wise to first close down that NE, cause otherwise we will keep losing the regions that we succesfully win with the RW's.

The French just got Wallonian iron and they won't just let it go easily, so moving to Wallonia and fighting there would have just been a waste of ressources - the ones who thought otherwise or could afford it, were free to go on their own. The Macedonian battle was set in BAF because they fought against the Saudis, which usually are an easy opponent to complete your DO swiftly and move on (few strong opponents + most of them with low health = less clicks for more kills).

Aren't all the opponents generated by the war module based on an average of 3 or so hits per kill, dependent on your strength? Sure, you get the oddball opponent with 10 health, but there are just as many 4 or 5 hit guys. Never had to fight anyone more than a bit +/- my own strength.

In countries as eSaudi Arabia, eEgypt and eBolivia (just to name a few), where the communities aren't too big or too active and usually can't or won't get MPP's, I usually get opponents who are way below my strength, have low health and no weapons - eventhough the module generates random opponents close to your strength, if there are just 10 people residing in that country and they all happen to be weak, low healthed and unarmed, then the module simply has no other choice than to provide cannon meat for quick kills.
