Mentoring Program Empty Mentoring Program

Mentoring new citizens slowly becomes a good tradition in eBelgium, but as always there are far more new players then there are available experienced mentors. At the moment we have a small team of volunteers consisting of 10 people, but we could always use more. As not every new player likes to be mentored and those who do rarely ask questions every day, this job doesn't take too much time and one mentor could easily take several new citizens under his wings. You don't have to be that high of a level either to become a mentor, as long as you can explain how to use a Hospital, how to use a moving ticket, how to get your Wellness up, and other basic stuff. The mentor will take the first step to contact a new player (he will receive the names from citizen.info), answer questions and give advise (such as moving to Brussels or requesting support from citizen.info).

If you'd like to help out and become a mentor, please post here the languages in which you can communicate and the maximum number of proteges you could take up, and the MoHA team will do the rest.

If you are a young player and you would like to have a mentor, please post here as well and someone will be assigned to guide you soon.

I wouldn't mind being a mentor. I could do it in English, Dutch and French.

I think about 5 people would be quite enough to follow up. Wink
