If we rent today a region of Poland, eNL / eGE / eFR (whoever is the original owner) is going to RW it tomorrow, in which battle we have no chance, and we lose the region again.

So the idea is nice, but practically completely impossible.

As you rightly point out, Poland is not in our alliance, and we are likely to be at war with TWO soon. In that case, why would they ever allow France or the Netherlands to rent a region to us? In my opinion, that would just be inviting Poland to attack us, and we could never win that battle. They are not renting these regions. They have taken them and continue to hold them by force. That is a place we do not want to go.

First:
A friend wouldn't insist on having a region for free. A friend would give and take; for example taking a region and giving gold.

Second:
eBE and ePL aren't "Best Friends Forever"-high school style. As Maryam pointed out, we aren't even in the same alliance. We get on really well, but not well enough to freely start sharing regions.

Third:
If you would have read my post: Check your map. We don't border eNL or eFR.

Fourth:
To detail your "I will never accept pay for Poland": Give me ONE example in all of eRep history, where one country gave a region to another for completely nothing in return. If you can't name it, stop living in your imaginary world and get back into eRep's reality where eBE isn't in the position to make demands to ePL.

It is not heroism to fight for an unjust cause, and what justice is there in trying to get a region that was not ours to begin with? If you want to fight to the death (figuratively, of course) for eBe's original regions, go for it! Most of us will be there fighting beside you. But why on earth would you risk a country you claim to love to get something that we never had any right to hold?

Yes, I think I understand that. But NL and FR don't hold those territories. Poland holds them. It doesn't matter whether NL or FR would agree in that case. If you want to fight in resistance wars to free the regions (probably a lost cause, but a good one), I say great! I was already doing that at times for NL many many months ago, and I certainly wasn't the only eBelgian doing it. But NL and FR would have nothing to gain by freeing those regions only to let us have them, even if we had any hope of holding them, not even in exchange for cash or gold, and a region swap would probably not work, either, unfortunately. It's not that people don't find this idea interesting. It has been discussed many times, and attempts have even been made to arrange something, but it's just not feasible for us.
