this effectively cuts off the head of this alliance. Right now 3 majorpowers have left PHX (brazil, serbia and hun) and probably the rest will follow soon enough. The articles also mention a new more localised alliance between serbia, hun, macedonia and turkey. My guesses are they will try a PHX balkan only version.

So the alliances are falling back and right now everyone seems to check more their neighbours back yard instead of a far far away colony in asia. That already makes big alliance futile.

I knew that would happend even Eden will fall apart.

it's always fun to see it happen though :p

And was wishing for the big alliance that kill the game to collapse for a long time.

This has been coming for a very long time.

My guess is that in a few months, we'll have this new bulkan alliance and the bros as the 2 big alliances, some new alliance will form out of the ashes of Phoenix but will be quite weak and Entente-ish and EDEN will just be a loose group of nations that are only still together because none of them want to admit that it's over.

Eden will fall too probably.
Most likely smaller more local alliances will get the upperhand

US and maybe Canada seem to be headed for PANAM. If Phoenix is dead, maybe we should re-examine allying with our neighbors.

If Eden and Phoenix disepear I see no reason to kept our neutrality.
I'd say we should align with france our only friendly neighbor at the moment.

It's been dead for ages. what you see here now is just a official statement of something that was suppose to happen months ago.

Misho (imo absolutely THE greatest writer in erepublik, I've been following his articles since beta) wrote a good opinion on this

What about some more local alliances between countries that are geographically closer and have good relationship (like eBelgium, eFrance, eEngland and eGermany, for example) ?
