Couldn't they have at least given him a process 'in absentia'? Those few million dollars wouldn't have made a difference... then a death sentence (as applied now) would have had a juridical basis. Now they summarily killed him, bypassing any legal bases, and creating a precedent to be able to kill anyone who disturbs them... I always heard that someone is innocent until the verdict of a trial, where is that trial in this case? why don't they have a civilian trial of the 9/11 attacks?

ITT: if he is not dead he will make a video in the near future. The only reason he stayed quiet is because he had a mystique about him where they didn't know he was alive or dead. Now that most people think he is dead he would need to re-announce himself, if he doesn't he might as well be dead either way as he will now affect F**K ALL

I doubt that they have nuclear weopons. Nobody (even not Russia) will sell a nuclear bomb to Al Qaida. The only way for them to get a nuclear bomb is stealing one. (but that is very hard) Or they gain the information to make one. The last one is possible, they had 10 years to develop one, so it is POSSIBLE.

But we may be sure that there will be revenge actions! Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but they will come!!

1 small detail. To my knowledge and that of NATO there aren't any nukes reported missing.

Also, any seller of a Nuke would get a lot more money from Ahmudinijhad (Iran), Khadaffi (pre 2003 era), Sadam (pre 2003 era) or Kim Jong Il than they would get from a few drug lords in the Afghan tundra.

how are you going to steal a bomb that weights about 50tons (maybe even more) from a military guarded base without being seen? a nuke is about 15+ meters long...you would need a train(that is they way they are usually transported) or a very big vehicle to get it even past the gate...there is no way someone to steal one except from bribing the whole base, guards, sientists, commanders, even the CP to get it out of the country etc...and al quida doesn't have that many money.... and no government is going to sell a bomb to them...

in the other hand side instead of a nuke they could have some napalms...but which airplane is going to through bombs over europe and not get shot down before even starting the drop? It won't even get past the eu borders in my opinion...

In fact if they want to do a big dissaster they would hit the french Charles de Gaulle airplanes transport ship that is stationed in libya right now.... it would be the biggest military dissaster in history...and the radiation would destroy half the american navy there and most of eu's battleships.....also i do not include any of the nuke subs that are there right now....

In case you've been living under a rock the past 20 years, Khadaffi was already waging a war against Al Quada way before the Americans even heard of them. Khadaffi and Al Quada have been at war with each other since 1996. Why would Al Quada destroy the army that's killing it's enemy? Not to mention that it would condemn many Muslims to continue living under a (semi-) communist dictator regime. Which is exactly what Al Quada fights against. (when they're not waging jihad against "western swines" Laughing

besides, the fleet in the Mediterranean and the air forces bases are scattered around the Mediterranean countries (planes taking off Spain, Italy, France,... all the way to Greece). Plus there are only a few American vessels there (nothing compared to what's sailing around in the Gulf of Aden atm).

The DNA tests are done in Afghanistan.
