Re: new economical changes
Hm, I dont get why Thore and Pieter are dropping the price so badly, I thought I was bad for keeping the price at 0.4 and lower but with the new module they go to 0.17BEF, while this isnt the fact in other countries
In all countries is a price drop agree, but this drop is way to big in my eyes

before you rage-quit, gieb all your companies to me
Sure, I'd love to donate all my companies and gold to you... if only I could...
... BECAUSE eREP STILL DOESN'T RESPOND.
( Yup, that's right. It's so bugged, it doesn't even allow me to rage-quit... )
I am also willing to accept your companies and gold if they are a burden for you
(also any other currency or products)
Re: new economical changes
Cost to product 1 raw before update: 10 BEF (let's say)
Cost to produce 1 raw after update: 3-4 BEF
=> price/raw is divided by 2.5
And if you don't have a Q5 raw, u're screwed.

Re: new economical changes
jep I'm screwed, just fired all my raw workers. I don't know what I will do with the last remaining in my food company.
Feeling sad now.

Re: new economical changes
My plan is to keep my remaining company shuttered (maybe dissolve it), save up my gold, and wait for them to do another "factory upgrades are cheaps!" deal.
Even the Q5 raw factories don't seem like a good investment.
Hopefully the game will add some scarcity somehow, but I doubt it.

Shh! Don't say that. They'll just release another eRep bot buying up all products against any price, totally crashing the MM again.
Re: new economical changes
The country's real wealth will only be generated by more Belgian Q5 food and weapons companies operating here. The margins are simply superior, and there's incredibly enough (thanks to the low BEF?) still some volumes to be reached between 0.30 and 0.35 BEF/production point. Even much lower would still be profitable, especially if we manage low raws prices. There's much gold left in pockets, why can't we assemble it in the form of jointly-operated (1 in-game owner with open personal accounts but shared transparent GDoc company accounting) stock-held Q5 fp companies offering real salary competition on the Belgian job market? It is at least in theory possible to mobilize that gold in servings of 400, and make our country the most competitive possible.
Another idea for our competitivity would be if we would consider carefully further lower the income tax and/or VAT a tad (or two maybe).

True... it's just that 380 GOLD investment...
Getting together 380 GOLD from different players is an option, but it's always a huge risk: the company has to be on the account of one single player. With the investment that big (even with 10 players, you'll need to invest 38 GOLD), and the always present risk of that player being banned, leaving the game or screwing you up, I'm very reluctant to invest any GOLD in something like that.
Re: new economical changes
There are enough Q5 companies to hire the whole eBelgium, no need to create more actually^^.

Re: new economical changes
At the moment you can employ the entire world in 1 company without a penalty so strictly speaking you already have enough companies when there is 1 company

Re: new economical changes
Creating more companies spreads the risks of 1 player being banned and increases price and salary competition.

Re: new economical changes
Plus...
... more Q5 = more competition = lower prices = happy buyers and more and better fighting/training.

shadowukcs wrote:from smackSmack wrote:=B2+((B3/100)*B2)+((B4/100)*B2)
Where:
B2 = Base Productivity (See further below)
B3 = Skill level*10
B4 = Region bonuses (20 for each region that is relevant. I.E: Iron, Oil, Aluminium, Saltpeter, rubber for weapons. And the other 5 for Food)
Base Productivity:
Food/Weapons RMs:
Grain/Iron - 15
Fruit/Iron - 30
Fish/Aluminium - 50
Cattle/Saltpeter - 70
Deer/Rubber - 100
Food/Guns - 40 per Q. So Q1/2/3/4/5 = 40/80/120/160/200
Productivity is then divided by the RMs used, to get how many of each are produced.
I.E, Food use 1 RM per Q, so a Q3 food company will divide productivity by 3.
Weapons use 10 RM per Q, so a Q3 Weapons company will divide productivity by 30.
Any questions, please ask.
Any update for this formula ?

I think it's just:
Y= X*(1+Y)
X= Base productivity
Y= region bonus
Z= total productivity

Re: new economical changes
http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Productivity is indeed the current productivity in detail.
Z=X*(1+Y)
The base productivity and the raws used are on this wiki page. The previous page http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php?title=Productivity_formula redirects to this one.
