Re: For Elynea
Strange that some want to emigrate from Belgium when Belgium would have more regions under our own flag. A stronger Belgium will always be more attractive.
The added diversity of our population is a challenge which can be envisioned in a modular way.

Culturally we are not that much different from each other, and technological solutions must exist to help solve the problem of different languages. A few multilingual citizens is often enough to have a feeling of cohesion. Conflict is often a question of misunderstandings. It would help lots if we already had a mild enforcement framework with the NPNG Act, and later a thoughtful translation of the lawbook (starting with the law proposals, maybe require them to be translated 24 hours before the end of voting time) into:
1. practice
2. the other national languages (French, Dutch,... ),
that we would help make citizens of all officialised language groups feel at home and understand the working of the country.

Re: For Elynea
Ward, it's a good idea... but it's not happening.
People aren't just gonna give up their nationality to suddenly become eBelgian citizens. All that will happen is that IF we are able to secure a region from another nation from renting, the players from that region will just move to their old country. No one wants to leave their country just like that to join some other nation. It's not happening. Maybe if everyone was happy and loved each other... but that's not happening.

Why should they give up their nationality anyway? You can work and fight for eBelgium without having the eBelgian nationality. If you want to get involved in eBelgian politics then you need to have the eBelgian nationality but that's only for the people who really want to get involved.

I still have some documents from back then when I was Prime Minister in the eUNL. I even have a brainstorming document of a possible union between eUK and eUNL that was discussed during that time
Just in case of...

Well spoken Elynea. You would lose half the active eBelgian population with this merge, not to mention that just like last time, I and many others will probably be trying to RW eBelgium back.
I think your stance is a bit hypocritical Shadow
If it was for a merger with the eUK you would be the first to be shouting to do it.
Only reason you are against it is because it's about a merger with eNL.
nah, for some time I've considered a merger with eUK. The bonus would be good and all, but in the end, it's a country filled with horrible trolls and I think half the population here would quit as well.

If you want a merge, you need people to have the same citizenship^^.

you need the population behind it if you want it too succeed. Just having 1 congress that approves won't do because if it doesn't get re-elected the next month, you won't find enough congressmen to approve all the Dutch CS request. Not to mention that the regions would be RW'd in no time and you'll need a congress to re-NE the lost territories.

Re: For Elynea
If a merge occurs I will personally start a new party and become political active again to reverse it
(I know that this is probably not as intimidating as it sounds )
