Resistance Hero medal FAQ

Who?

The ten fastest clickers are elected to participate in the start of a resistance war (RW). They have a fast internet connection.


What?

If the RW succeeds, each participant earns five gold and a medal.


How?

On the "Home" page - The Button may become available after multiple refreshes (F5).
- Click it.
If it is successful, your avatar appears in the gallery of participants.
When ten have gathered (could take two seconds or an hour), you get the alert: "The starting cost of the resistance movement for Region X has been gathered. Fight to liberate it!". The RW starts immediately.
(If the region is attacked in a war before 10 participants are gathered, the participation is cancelled and the 1000 CC refunded.)


¿What's the price, what's the prize?

Clicking the Button will substract 1000 original region country currency (CC). Ex.: to RW Brussels you need 1000 BEF, to RW London (should it be occupied) 1000 GBP.
The reward (if the battle is successful) is always 5 gold and the medal on your (my) profile page.


Where?

Move to the occupied region that you want to RW. You may also RW a foreign region if you reside there and have the CC of the original territory country.


When?

either: immediately after a failed RW (when no other battle is active in a war between these countries)

or: exactly 24 hours after the region was conquered in a 'regular' war (when no other RW battle is active).


How to?

... calculate the exact starting time of a RW participation:

- find the war number in which the region was conquered. If this is an active war, this is easy (the Wars button. For other wars, check the Military Campaigns page. Ex.: the current BE-UK NE/TW, number 6910.
- open http://api.erepublik.com/v2/feeds/wars/6910 in a browser (view as xml/text).
- find the latest battle number at the bottom. 9749 was the battle for Brussels.
- open http://api.erepublik.com/v2/feeds/battles/9749
- look at the 2011-08-08T05:56:16-04:00 part.
- Add 24 hours. Substract three hours for erep time or add six hours for Belgian time. So now you know that the Brussels RW will be possible on the 9th of August at 11h56:16. I hope the rules don't change by then

I saw that on the first day after the RH change. But then it disappeared (I'm in Brussles, UK now, awaiting this noon's RW proposal start, but i see no button and no timer anymore.

Over the 24 hours after the last conquest of Flanders by the UK, I and other Belgian citizens did not see the option to lauch a resistance war, not even with the timer. Suddenly, after 16:47 erep time, the resistance war was launched though. Do you know what could have happened? We think that everybody should see the option so that at least we can try clicking when the 24 hours are over.
The war is number 6910, the RW battlefield that was launched without us having the option to see the timer is number 9612.
For the record: I was located in Flanders, UK all the time. Flanders is an original region of Belgium.
For the same situation after the conquest of Wallonia in the previous battle of the same war, the option screen was visible all the time with a timer decreasing from 24 hours to zero, after which it's pure luck if you manage to enlist.
But here in Flanders, that screen was never visible.

Thank you for your report!
We have checked this issue and found nothing wrong.
The resistance movement section appears only if there is no battle in that specific region or there isn't another resistance war, with the same both countries, active.

I don't know the answer, i didn't say anything that would imply an answer in the FAQ i think. Experience, logics and knowledge fail me on this one

nop, after a succesfull RW, a new RW can immediatly be started IF the requirements are fullfilled
1) In the occupying country there is no other Resistance Force of that country that you want to liberate fighting
2) 10 Persons support the RW
3) The region is conquered more then 24h ago
