No, it's a fantastic propaganda to motivate their allies not to mingle in the fight, and to get our allies to fight for us.

Really, keeping the 300 GOLD wouldn't have helped us in a potential war. As we returned it, the MoFA will be happy to use it as an argument to others.

If we deprive them of enough MPPs we should be able to stop their offensive dead cold. If not, we can fighting a Resistance War against them. Sooner or later they'll have to give in. Bleed them dry, and that sort of stuff.

We are working on finding few more MPPs from TEDEN side, so eNL will loose them if they attack us! 6 countries have been contacted, still no reply from them!

I think we'ld be conquered relatively fast, indeed. I doubt however they would find the required political support for keeping the RWs under control especially under current circumstances. An attack will be viewed by many as a vile action or portrayed as such by our MoFA. And while it'll cause a lot of stress for a few of us to make sure everything goes ok, I'm rather confident that we won't have too much trouble finding sufficient outside help. Above that, the dutch will not have the full support of their own population and if we play our cards right, will not have the support of their alliance in RWs.

The most important we'll have to manage now is make sure they don't reach a 2/3 majority in their congress to NE us. And that we can do by raising the price they will pay for launching it and by positioning ourselves as neutrals who are being bullied by some of the Dutch without reason.

That's where the 300 Gold argument should come in handy, like someone else siad it earlier.

We can really make them look bad if they really attack us and maybe different options can open to us? More experienced players should know better - I haven't been around long enough to know what has happened in the past - :

- we could maybe RW them and be able to stay proudly neutral and trustworthy instead of both alliances.
- we might recive good offers from the other alliance (ONE?) - although probably not the best solution when surounded by France, Germany and NL
- we could really tighten our relations with TEDEN countries, make them (NL) look so bad that we could maybe take their place in this alliance? to much of a dream?

We might get help from ONE, especially from close allies like eUK, but most ONE countries are far too busy with their own s***. Remember that most ONE countries are off the map or barely on it.

I don't think getting close to TEDEN is really an option, seeing how TEDEN perceive us as being proONE. And after Netherlands will attack us we'll probably be dropped as a friend really quickly

Between more important fronts like Hungary and Indonesia and the fact that we have the moral highground, I don't think they'll get much support. Grant it, we probably wont either.

OK, I need to tell you that I've contacted the new CPs of the 6 TEDEN countries that Netherlands have MPP with, and that does not interfere with the battles of our MPPs (Taiwan, Russia, Brasil, Bulgaria, Finland and Turkey). We need to sign MPPs with these countries (just in case). Again waiting for the first response!

That almost makes us pro-teden :/
But, we could use the extra mpp's!

They're probably going to MPP Albania as well and I don't think that conflicts with us.

Loves and hugs are meaningless. Power or the perception of power is what matters. No one gives a crap about your feelings or your hugs etc. If you have power in which case military power, people will respect you. If not, they will do a cost benefit analysis and to see if crushing eBE or leaving it alone would be more ideal etc. eBE does not have any power. Hugs and kisses will not be factored in in the decision making calculus of the decision makers. In the case for Auggy, it is a great political move (domestic) for him as it brings fun etc. For your allies, their benefit in aiding the Belgians is Geo-stragetic purposes. It is not because you did the "right thing" or of your loves and kisses. Until you have power, eBE would continue to be marginalized or mocked. It will continue to be in the paths of empires and alliance. Your "good deeds" might work for propaganda but not really part of the decision maker's cost benefit analysis calculations.
