A Union for Workers and a Bureau for Companies
Workers Union
Another idea would be to get the workers organized. This way we can deal with companies in eBelgium owned in Foreign lands to be boycotted by labour and would provide a defense for the Workers as they could perform strikes and other activities to get higher wages. We do pretty much need people on both sides of the Worker V Company owner debate and this Union would help the workers. The head of this would be voted by the workers to represent and to fight for them. The head may or may not receive a salary depending on the decision of its members.
Overall Goals
1. Get better living conditions for its members
2. Help eBelgium by boycotting Foreign operated companies
3. Get the workers organized
4. Provide Compromises with the Business Bureau over Wages
Business Bureau
The idea of a Business Bureau is to manage, compromise, and aid the companies of this nation. They would negotiate with member companies on market equilibrium, help its members apply for a loan (if the bank idea goes through), aid members in a management teaching class, provide the community with a list of companies they need, Negotiate Income Taxes with the government. The chairman would be appointed by its members via vote and there might be a small membership fee as the Chairman needs a salary regardless of size for his work.
Overall Goals
1. Get better profits/conditions for its members
2. help eBelgium moniter its markets
3. Compromise with the Government
4. Teach and aid companies in any way
5. Compromise with the Workers Union
Please note that all of these would be 100% Independent with Zero government Interference...

Workers union:
You want to organise a strike? This isn't real life buddy. The company manager will simply kick the 'inactive' eployees and hire new ones. It's simple as that. The supply of workforces > demand from companies. That's also why the wages are low.
business bureau:
if this idea works, then it might become soemthing nice. It'll be great that company managers can discuss taxes with the congress.

Just this point I disagree with... Fixing prices is not an option as we have high enough prices and that they should in fact go down.

This could actually work if most of the people are active and bother to read the fora.

Don't bother then, most people (2 clickers don't read the fora) and don't care.
Besides that an organized strike could lead to companies leaving our market just because we strike, wich will probaply evolve in less competion and higher market prices.
So in short : i don't believe are fragile economy needs this.

Re: A Union for Workers and a Bureau for Companies
Well I see that I did not get many too good reviews.
The purpose of the Union is not to organize a strike, it is to be used for the organization of workers and to get them better incomes through debates and actions against companies. They can also be used to help us thwart out foreign owned Belgian companies. They are not meant for in anyway to destroy the eBelgian economy but instead be the person that compromises for a decent living statue. Then at the last resort strike...
Offering people higher paychecks goes a long way...
Then good, we can fill those companies with Belgian ones as companies in eBelgium that are owned by Belgians are not going to shutdown as long as they profit. Strikes cannot last forever the Union just tries to get its members higher salaries as the wage is not much in eBelgium as you would personally know due to your worldwide study of this.
That'd be something to debate with the Bureau...
