I was just thinking, can a citizen under level 12 donate to the state account or not?

Every Citizen and every Organization can donate items to other entities. Every Citizen above level 12 and every Organization can also donate money to other entities. Citizens below level 12 can also donate money to other entities, if they have bought gold.

I think they can, does someone want to test it

I think that by "cheating" Apotygma meant receiving Gold from level 6+ (but level 12-) in exchange for BEF from the governement (the new citizens can't donate, but they can receive donations) - a win-win situation, since the citizens would get BEF to buy their stuff temselves, and the governement would get Gold (and print new BEF at a cheap rate if necessary).

An easy way it is quickly said, it is a way out indeed but I rather do this than screw up our MM because we are in need of gold. We have a lot of things coming up and we need the gold to finance it.

Also : who would know? Yeah you can read this thread but it will probably be deleted then so don't worry about the reputation. Every single country in the world does it, only if you are to proud to do it you don't but it will leave you so far behind that you are screwed at the end anyway.

But Aldous his idea is great also : let them donate to the state and we send BEF back (more than on the market probably) so that they can buy houses, etc...
