Forum Registration Incentive Report
per Rod Damon's request:
43 incentive fees have been given for a total of 231 BEF
4 of those who received the incentive have been on the forum within the past 24 hrs. as of this writing
This figure does not fully reflect the benefit the incentive has had. It only shows users in the past 24 hrs and the first 10 incentives were given without recording the citizen's name (an oversight on citizen.info's part)
So it is very likely more than 4 are still active. Assuming the number is 6 (just 2 more) The percentage of citizens who continued to post after receiving their incentive is 14%

Re: Forum Registration Incentive Report
I think whether the fee is 7 or 70, most people will still register just to get the fee and aren't really interested to stick around on the forum. We should be honest to ourselves and admit that the fee isn't a very successful incentive to stimulate new citizens to become active on the forum. But this doesn't mean that the fee is useless - in most cases it helps the new citizens to survive their first days in the game more comfortably, and I think the percentage of citizens who received the fee and are still active in-game (even if just two-clicking) is much higher than 14%.

Re: Forum Registration Incentive Report
I don't think that it will work. We need to come up with useful things like 'Active on the forum? Weapons and food first when we hand them out!' Something like that will motivate them.

Still, attracting more people is the first step to increase the number of active forum users.

I think the forum incentive is working we can't expect even the majority of citizens to become active on the forum. This type of game appeals to certain people and bores a lot more people. The incentive gets them here on the forum, that's all we can do, either they love it or hate it and no amount of BEF will change that.

Re: Forum Registration Incentive Report
btw:
I just investigated those who used forum registration on their activity IG.
From all the persons who applied in May and before (people in June not included since they will probably still be active):
17 were alive and kicking in Belgium
7 were alive and kicking in other countries (3 in SA, 2 in USA and 1 in Ukraine [BE military prolly] and Australia)
4 were dieing, noone dead yet
so to keep people active or to reward active people, the fee is succesfull, but the people leaving is a problem.

Re: Forum Registration Incentive Report
As i'm new here I received the "newbie fee".
I can tell you guys it's very helpfull for the new players.
It allows you to buy some food and weapons for the first fights.
I would say, keep up paying that fee to new players!
Another, not really topic related question. I signed in for the army a few days ago (I know, my strength isn't that impressive but I just started). But I haven't received any answer from the army. Is this the normal procedure?
