Soooo... I've been playing this game for almost 2 years now and have yet to even attempt to start a business. Why? Because it looks like the economic part of this game is just about as fun as any other numbers game... It looks like it blows...

However \o/ I need munnies so dat I can do stuff like... Bribing players to do my bidding Buy people's votes in a CP election Purchase loads of weapons to start my Pro-TEDEN overthrow of the gov and destroy our neutrality Enjoy and understand the ways of this game more, therefore, I must do some sort of business. I saw that there was a tutorial (of sorts) on the forum. I looked at it. I did not have the capacity (nor self-discipline) to thoroughly read or understand it. Now I am here, making a thread...

Long story short, who wants to help me get rich

Most raws companies take about 3 months to pay for themselves. Companies, unless you have lots of employees (think q5 or q6) take far longer.

rather than becoming a 1%er, think about becoming self sufficient in food first, then contemplate the 200-500 gold for weapons factories.

about what amounts of money are we talking here?

I'll hook you up with all the info. Beware, it's unimpressive, but like I said, I've never made any stride to play with the economics of this game.

Well I am generally set with feeding myself. I mean, when we get invaded by France I'm buying food probably, but other than that~

Is weapons dealing the way to go you think?

there isn't much difference between weapons and food.
you produce 10 times more foods and they cost about 10% of an equivalent weapon

Weapons is less storage demanding but Food is more profitable if you're staying in eBelgium. We're selling just about everything to the bot anyways.

long story short

so to conclude: use your gold as following:
Now:
-buy 1 Q1 food company (10G)
-use your BEF to buy Q4 WRM/FRM companies. (FRM until you produce 420 FRM/day, then buy infinite amounts of WRM Q4 companies)
Next 50% offer:
-upgrade 1 Q1 food company to Q2 and upgrade your town centre (10G)
-upgrade your Q1 weapons company to Q3 (cost 35G) and upgrade your TC to lvl 5
*if by then you can upgrade you weapons to Q4 in stead, upgrade to Q4 in stead (cost: 90G)
*if by then you can't upgrade to Q4, buy another Q1 weapons company and upgrade that as high as possible as well

Oh and if possible, put that Polish and other foreign money on the market to sell for gold, then use that gold to buy BEF for Q4 companies.

AND sell everything you don't use. If you have spare food, sell it. Sell your guns and fight unarmed.




Imo weapons dealing is better because A) it takes less storage and B) once you upgrade it to a decent level, you can stop selling to the bot and start selling to players. And many players actually need more tanks than they need food. The only one buying Q5 food is the bot, but there are many players who buy Q5 tanks. So on higher levels, you *CAN* make better profits with tanks.
