General Update required

I made a check list about our country fruitfull operations and there's now lots of thinks to update for our glorious eBelgium:

-Update once a month (not done) http://erepgov.com/countries.php?c=Belgium
-Update http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Belgium
-Name ambassadors for each countries (We are far)
-Inform all countries about our current policy and presidency (Can be done by ambassadors on foreign forums)
-Optimisation of our forum and country news
-Video for presenting eBelgium?
-Things to add?

As an exemple, i wil take the french website and good videos that i found from them:

In short:
- Update of erepgov.com: Even though I don't believe this is critical or essential (There doesn't seem to be a lot of nations that are up to date), it's a nice resource and would be happy to fill it in if I can manage to find the nation's password somewhere.
- Update of the wiki: Seems rather up to date to me
- Ambassadors: It's practically not a possibility, even though I'ld love to have a huge country with 5000 active players of which 70 wish to be ambassadors, it's a luxury we do not have. I would already be happy to find an ambassador for each of our allies.
- All countries have been informed by McKitKat
- Optimisation of forum: Can you be a little bit more concrete ?
- Video ?

- Things to add: maintaining all areas of governance and not only foreign affairs, feel free to apply for a government position, I believe Viridi can still use some help in MoHA

I was surprised when I saw all things that France deploy to attract people: Good videos presenting eFrance and their situation and their website well designed.

About the ambassies, we can promote posts like this, one ambassador for each country is enormous, but there are some that we do not have to miss (World superpowers and neighbourgs)

So webdesign, we'ld have to look if:
1. if this forum (a free host) allows it or if it doesn't if we can carry over the domain name elsewhere
2. Someone is interested in (re)doing the webdesign of the forum and preparing a bunch of surrounding pages

Just a note: The history of eBelgium page has not been updated since June 2011 ^^. (With the exception of the BCW page I began and never finished and that is currently not linked with the page).

I spam... ehm send our government and congratulation wishes to every CP in eRep.

I actualized the wiki page but I do not now anything about eBelgium history.

We lack people who would take an ambassador job. There are enough countries on my list who don't have on of our ambassadors.

Well, we can count our ambassadors on fingers hand...

I updated the egov site even if I don't believe you should attach too much value to the information on there for other countries.

Ambassadors: probably the biggest sham ever invented in this entire game. I'd rather stick my hand in a blender than to see a crappy ambassador program relive again, giving people a false feeling of importance and ego in this country. Sticking my hand in a blender would probably be less painful as well... and better for the common for this country.
-optimisation of this forum: agreed. lets start by electing admins democratically.
-video: the first one that makes a video of himself, I will personally edit and mock. That will be your punishment for being so dumb to throw your face on the net.

yea, I know what you mean. but honestly, who's going to see it? Other than the people who already play this game. A video is great but if you upload it on youtube, the only people who see it are people that type in "erepublik" and they usually already play this game.


Unless you rent some sort of advertisement space with IRL money, your video will never reach the selected audiences. (with exception maybe if you use it on fora but even then the effect is rather limited)


in france the video was a success because people like Mattieu bonne and the other lot over there rented RL advertisement space and because they had jeuxvideo, something that doesn't really has an equivalent in RL Belgium (or at least flanders anyway)

Who says the wiki is up to date? Well i wanted to introduce our governement to France and I was really surprised: Quite half of the governement is not belgian, and the name "Viridi" don't exist at all!

We were moved to high bonus countries to make soldiers in the army communes more productive. If you are in BTA, the supplies you receive are produced by our employees. If you get daily citizen packs, they are also produced by our employees. When and if you are ready to join BNA, you will help to produce those supplies and supplies for BNA soldiers. In spite of our in-game foreign citizenship, we are more active in the forum community than most in-game citizens. tecuvo is commander of BNA. I am a regimental captain and was acting commander while he was on holiday. Last month, I was MoD. I am presently the VP, have been present on the alliance IRC channels to help keep communications open, and have expressed my opinion regularly on debates in Congress, the private government areas, and when asked, by members of the Supreme Court. I am also a global moderator on this forum, as is Viridi (and that is his in-game name), who has served in this and the last several governments, as well. A word to the wise: Before you start making criticisms, be sure you understand the situation.

They are supply officers for the army, they only have citizenship elsewhere so that they hav more production bonusses and the soldiers in the army get more supplies. They might have citizenship elsewhere they are still eBelgians. They make a unselfish sacrifice for the betterment of Belgium and Belgium army.

They can, you don't need to be in eBE to do the government job. Like you don't have to move to China if you want be eBE ambassador in China.

Wiki: The names don't exist in the wiki but in the game, most of these players haven't a own wikipage because they don't need it. Everything, except the military and the historical part is up to date.

MQ, I honestly don't understand why you guys are still in eUSA. It's been told a zillion times already that the US is doing everything they can to remove all SO's and foreigners from their country. They are deliberately giving up their regions and in a few days they'll vote a plan to set minimum wage to 60


Once that's going to happen, there will be a mass rush to other countries and if you honestly believe that they'll give preference to some unknown belgian MU over one of the many bigger and well known MU's that will rush out of the country in big numbers, you're just naive.

The vote will probably be launched ingame tomorrow or in the course of the following days.

After that, there will be a massive exodus to the other 100% countries and anyone thinking 3 people from - "Belwhat? ... oh Belgium?! Is that in Asia?" - will have any chance of getting accepted is retarded.
