It's interesting because the market is nice too, but i agree i don't understand why they can make this amount. Nice for the workers, sure

TWD is worthless, nobody wants to buy it, so the have lot of currency created by the bot and the can't burn so easily...

Re: And you thought our wages where high?
They have 276 gold on the MM for 900 or less TWD. We have 6.15 gold for 900 or less BEF. We have 125 kBEF up at 0.002 gold, they have more than 460k TWD up at 0.002. Wonder what currency is most solid.Melatreta wrote:TWD is worthless, nobody wants to buy it, so the have lot of currency created by the bot and the can't burn so easily...
They have 40/80 bonuses, where we have 40/20. If we produce 12 weapons, they produce 18. Now their top wage is 206.56 TWD: in production parity (divided by 1.5), this corresponds to 137.7 BEF. Excellent, but not completely crazy.

I lived in Taiwan and yes, their mm is much stronger than ours, but the bot presence there is enourmus, it's quite dificult for they to place their currency in 0.003, but in Belgium if anyone buys 125k of BEF (quite easy) we will have a most valuable currency

Re: And you thought our wages where high?
Why would one buy at 0.002 (get 500 BEF per gold) if he can post it and get 800-900 BEF per gold quite easily and quickly?
Here is the question of monetary intervention again, for me it just doesn't make sense.
If we have a really strong currency, nobody will buy on our markets anymore... even Belgian citizens would go buy their daily purchases elsewhere, unless prices drop a lot, lowering wages, lowering purchase power, etc...

If we have a strong currency, everyone will sell in our markets, and everyone will buy. Why?
Because you know that the currency you are playing with will not increase/decrease their value in a few hours. You're right, prices and wages will drop a lot, because our currency worth more, so the price in gold will be almost the same, but in currency will be smaller.
All it's about gold dude.

Re: And you thought our wages where high?
Question for the people that know more about the economic part of the game:
If we can hardly sell our BEF for gold and the bot puts more and more gold on the market. Then we will eventually go to 1000 bef for 1 gold.
Would another training war help to counter this? Because every RW takes away 10000 BEF from our market and gives us 20-50 gold. (depending on how many foreigners fund the rw)
or does do the possible benefits not way out the negatives of losing a bonus for a day?

First of all, bot puts more and more BEF on the market, no gold. IT will be really funny if it puts golds on the market
Second, probabily a TW will bost our economy. 2cliker will spend more money on defending their country or expanding it. In the case we lose a region, foreigners will buy BEF and suport the RW if the know we are going to win it, so we can create some advertimisent about that we are going to fight all we can in the RW. Also, one day without bonus is not any disaster because if we lose the region at 9 p.m. all the people in that day would work before we lose the battle, winning a battle takes (in the best of the situations) 12 hours. So, next day at 9 a.m. everyone could work without loosing any bonus.
If you have any question, ask dude

an rw is only a temporary solution
after 2 weeks all the benefits will be gone and everything will be just the same as before

RW aren't a solution, even temporaly. If we could open a RW every day, it could be a solution, but it isn't our case. We could burn 30-40k of BEFs in a TW, not more.
