The sand has been shipped away to some African country in the Sahara, and the remaining beer bottles have been brought to Holland, so they can use the last bits to experience the taste of some real beer.
The Olympic Committee shows once again his support for third-world countries.

The 50m crawl is about to start and they're lined up. Everybody looks confident after the extra rest day, let's see who reaches the other side of the pool first.

And they started! It will be over soon as it's the shortest competition with the fastest style.

It's close between Zodiarch and Fhaemita Malodorous! Almost next to each other... The race has ended. It was too close to see the result without technical support. The only thing that's certain is that Goopypants has to be rescued. He seems a bit blue, but that could be the light off course.

And now the replay... And it's Zodiarch who takes it! Only just, you can see his fingertips reach the board right before Fhaemita. That was spectacular.

The podium:

1. Zodiarch
2. Fhaemita Malodorous
3. Nohjis

The crowd is still shaking. Goopypants too, as it's the result of the defribilator.

Anyway, the medal table:

1. Zodiarch (2xG, 1xB)
2. Fhaemita Malodorous (1xG,1xS,1xB)
3. Cotarius (1xG)
4. Monsieur Guillotine (2xS)
5. Critically (1xS)
6. Nohjis (2xB)

Ze math: Accel 10%, Accuracy 5%, Power 30%, Speed 40%, Agi 5%, Rec 5%, Refl 5%

Weightlifting is the most POWERful sport. Here at the Lotto Arena, the strongest man will win.

There are two types the contestants will have to perform: snatch and clean/jerk.

Up for the first part: snatch!

It's clear only four people will make a good effort, as the others have (almost) no power: Fhaemita Malodorous, Critically, Zodiarch and Monsieur Guillotine.
The others had some terrible accidents: a broken hip, bruised shoulders, and some headaches as a result.
But the four others could make it with Zodiarch as a leader with 213kg.
Fhaemita and Critically lifted 205 kg and Monsieur Guillotine 185.

Clean and jerk will decide who will win the medals.

Monsieur Guillotine starts and has some trouble to keep balance but eventually he lifts 250 kg. That makes 435kg for him.

Fhaemita Malodorous now... Wow, 260kg for him. 465kg in total! That was close to the record of 472,5.

Critically on the stage and it is going to be...245kg. He's slightly disappointed with his total of 450kg.

Zodiarch only needs 252kg to win and 259,5 for a new record. He tries and gets 262 kg! A new record! Zodiarch jumps into the crowd, just misses NLSP, "accidently" kicks Procuste and goes right to the beer stands.

Podium:

1. Zodiarch 475kg WR
2. Fhaemita Malodorous
3. Critically

Medal stand:

1. Zodiarch (3xG, 1xB)
2. Fhaemita Malodorous (1xG,2xS,1xB)
3. Cotarius (1xG)
4. Monsieur Guillotine (2xS)
5. Critically (1xS, 1xB)
6. Nohjis (2xB)

Easy math: 90% power, 5% stamina, 5% agility

See you later on at the tennis courts!

Welcome at the hardcourt La Hulpe tennis courts.

The report will start from the games for the medals, but here are the qual. results:

Cotarius vs. Monsieur Guillotine: 6-4, 6-4,6-7,6-3
Jamster737 vs. Critically: 6-2, 7-6, 6-0
Zodiarch vs. Nohjis: 6-0, 6-2, 6-0
Fhaemita Malodorous vs. aVegan: 6-7, 6-0, 6-0, 6-4

And so the semi-finals:

Cotarius vs. Jamster737: 6-4, 6-2, 2-6, 6-7, 7-6
Zodiarch vs. Fhaemita Malodorous: 6-3, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4

Bronze Match

Jamster737 and Fhaemita Malodorous are ready for their game. Jamster is hungry for a medal. The first set shows his enthousiasm. With a clear 6-2 he amazes Fhaemita Malodorous. But "FM" fights back and wins in a tie break in the second set.

Jamster is unleashed now. Lots of winners for him combined with some easy faults by Fhaemita results for him in a bronze medal. Jamster737 gets in the stands and starts dancing with Procuste. Unfortunately it's something like this when NLSP joins them:

Championship match

Cotarius just smashes past Zodiarch all the time. Just now and then Zodiarch has an answer to this. 6-2 and 6-3 in the first two sets. But then Zodiarch uses his power. With some passing shots, he gets back 7-5 for Zodiarch in the third set.

After some rest, Cotarius shows how he can handle his racket. 6-3 and Cotarius wins the title.

Podium:
1. Cotarius
2. Zodiarch
3. Jamster737

Medals:

1. Zodiarch (3xG, 1xS, 1xB)
2. Cotarius (2xG)
3. Fhaemita Malodorous (1xG,2xS,1xB)
4. Monsieur Guillotine (2xS)
5. Critically (1xS, 1xB)
6. Nohjis (2xB)
7. Jamster737 (1xB)

Math: Pow 15%, Sp 15%, Accu 20%, Sta 10%, Agi 5%, Accel 10%, Refl 15%, Rec 10%

The race track at Francorchamps is ready for some cycling time-trial action.
The riders will have to complete 55km on a fairly easy terrain.

The first time is set by Goopypants, as he started first. He litteraly tumbled from the starting podium and so his times will not affect the rest of the field.

Monsieur Guillotine set a good time. He will be hard to beat, as Cotarius and Critically already are some minutes down.

Some magnificent cornering from aVegan leads him to a new best time! Surely this has to be a medal.

And now comes Zodiarch in the final straight... but it's clear he won't finish at the top today. A disappointing time.

A new best time by Jamster737! What a performance. His second part of the race was extraordinary.

Nohjis is about to finish... Only just behind aVegan! He's still in the running for a medal, but Fhaemita Malodorous has set some best times at the intermediate checks.

There he comes... Yes, he takes it. A new gold medal for him.

Podium:

1. Fhaemita Malodorous
2. Jamster737
3. aVegan

Medal standings:

1. Zodiarch (3xG, 1xS, 1xB)
2. Fhaemita Malodorous (2xG,2xS,1xB)
3. Cotarius (2xG)
4. Monsieur Guillotine (2xS)
5. Critically (1xS, 1xB)
Jamster737 (1xS, 1xB)
7. Nohjis (2xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Math check: 5% accel, 5% accu, 5% agi, 10% Pow, 10% Rec, 5% refl, 30% spe, 30% stam

The parallel bars competition in Gent is about to start.

Who will impress the judges and the crowd?

Zodiarch is the first to attempt a high score. Some really nice moves there. An all-round good performance, only his final exercise fails a bit, and this is devastating for his score: 15.853. A good score, but it could have been better.

Next one is Nohjis. That's the only "nice" thing I could say after such a horrible exercise. 12.520 and the crowd shouts some bad things at him, which are not acceptable to write in a report.

Jamster tries a lot of different styles. Maybe he tried too hard and so his landing fails. 14.300.

Fhaemita Malodorous only has some minor mistakes. But in this kind of competition, it aren't just some small mistakes. He'll has to be happy with 15.655.

Critically does a tremendous performance, but the judges don't agree. 15.200 is his score and the crowd throws "things" at them. According to me, it looks like bits of a dead dog, but I'm not sure.

aVegan thinks quality is the same as crap. Luckily the judges don't thinks so and his score is 12.600. A miracle that he has more points than Nohjis.

Next gymnast is Monsieur Guillotine. And what a performance! He easily completes the exercise, and rounds off with a perfect landing: 16.754.

Goopypants can't even push himself up. What a pity. Even the judges show some sympathy, but don't give points.

Cotarius does a mediocre performance: 14.300. Same points as Jamster737.

Podium:

1. Monsieur Guillotine
2. Zodiarch
3. Fhaemita Maldorous

Medal standings:

1. Zodiarch (3xG, 2xS, 1xB)
2. Fhaemita Malodorous (2xG,2xS,2xB)
3. Cotarius (2xG)
4. Monsieur Guillotine (1xG,2xS)
5. Critically (1xS, 1xB)
Jamster737 (1xS, 1xB)
7. Nohjis (2xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Final math of the day: Agi 35%, Sp 10%, Sta 20%, Accu 5%, Pow 30%

Antwerp will be the scenery of the K1 competition.

It will be very though, because there is a firm breeze in the opposite direction.

They are on there starting places. Everybody looks focused.

There is the signal! What a start of Cotarius. But he's easily passed by the rest of the field after 75m. Monsieur Guillotine, inspired by his gold medal, tries to increase the pace, but some are able to follow. I can see Critically, Zodiarch and Fhaemita Malodorous closing in. What a race!

Now it's Fhaemita with an acceleration, Zodiarch tries to follow, the rest is left behind. And with only 30m Zodiarch is able to beat "FM". He jumps out of his kayak, bad luck the water is f***ing cold.

Podium:

1. Zodiarch
2. Fhaemita Malodorous
3. Critically

Medal standings:

1. Zodiarch (4xG, 2xS, 1xB)
2. Fhaemita Malodorous (2xG,3xS,2xB)
3. Cotarius (2xG)
4. Monsieur Guillotine (1xG,2xS)
5. Critically (1xS, 2xB)
6. Jamster737 (1xS, 1xB)
7. Nohjis (2xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Math: 40% speed, 30% power, 10% stamina, 10% accel, 5% agi, 5% reflex

10m air pistol as last competition of the day.

Jamster737, Fhaemia Malodorous, Critically, Zodiarch and Goopypants had no points for accuracy, which is maybe acceptable in archery but not for this sport, where accuracy is the only thing that matters. For safety reasons, they may not compete as there is too much chance they kill someone (killing NLSP is maybe good for mankind, but ethically not acceptable).

So we only got aVegan, Nohjis, Cotarius and Monsieur Guillotine.

Cotarius first. He shoots almost every time a bullseye. Even the crowd starts to freak out. When the carton is removed, only one shot didn't went through the bullseye. Unfortunatly for him, that shot was only worth 3 points.

Then aVegan. An average session, but maybe enough for a medal.

Nohjis... just manages to bet aVegan. aVegan starts to freak out, because Monsieur Guillotine is probably better, and so he won't get a medal (again).

"MG" performs as good as expected, but just isn't good enough to get another gold medal.

Podium:
1. Cotarius
2. Monsieur Guillotine
3. Nohjis

1. Zodiarch (4xG, 2xS, 1xB)
2. Cotarius (3xG)
3. Fhaemita Malodorous (2xG,3xS,2xB)
4. Monsieur Guillotine (1xG,3xS)
5. Critically (1xS, 2xB)
6. Jamster737 (1xS, 1xB)
7. Nohjis (3xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Math: 90% accu (told you), 5% agil, 5% refl

Tomorrow: 100m butterfly and balance beam

The pool is ready for another race: 100m butterfly.

Critically has a great start, he completes the first 50m in front of the race. If he can keep this pace, he'll win with some lenghts ahead. Goopypants, Cotarius and aVegan can forget their race already. They are way back in the field.

Now an acceleration by Monsieur Guillotine! He's almost in front of Critically, and Fhaemita Malodorous falls behind! What a surprise from the 7 times medal winner.

And oh, Zodiarch just passed Critically and Monsieur Guillotine and only just takes first place. What a powerful effort those last few metres. Jamster737 forgot to stretch his arms, and banged his head against the wall of the swimming pool.

Podium:

1. Zodiarch
2. Monsieur Guillotine
3. Critically

Medals:

1. Zodiarch (5xG, 2xS, 1xB)
2. Cotarius (3xG)
3. Fhaemita Malodorous (2xG,3xS,2xB)
4. Monsieur Guillotine (1xG,4xS)
5. Critically (1xS, 3xB)
6. Jamster737 (1xS, 1xB)
7. Nohjis (3xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Math: 30% pow, 30% spe, 20% agi, 5% accu, 5% stam, 5% accel, 5% refl

Put on your gym clothes for the balance beam!

This is a very difficult exercise and it will be hard to get some points from the judges.

Fhaemita Malodorous first, and that's just...horrible. When he jumped on the beam, he almost fell and in the end he hit the ground with his head. So much for him today.

Zodiarch then, nice effort there, almost no faults, but it wasn't smooth: 15.700

Goopypants, aVegan and Nohjis are not able to convince the judges and the crowd. I even think I saw Nohjis drinking a bottle of vodka before he started, but it could be water as well, I'm not sure.

Cotarius then, not quite but a second place for him at the moment: 15.550. NLSP and Procuste are once again throwing things at the judges. This time I think it were pieces of broccoli. Where did they get these?

Monsieur Guillotine... Oh what a smooth, relaxed exercise. he was just in perfect balance: 16.890

Critically has been impressed by the previous performance, but he manages to do better as Cotarius: 15.650

Jamster737 tries to get a medal, but it's too tough for him. Some off-balanced moves give him 14.650 points.

Podium:

1. Monsieur Guillotine
2. Zodiarch
3. Critically

Medals:

1. Zodiarch (5xG, 3xS, 1xB)
2. Cotarius (3xG)
3. Monsieur Guillotine (2xG,4xS)
4. Fhaemita Malodorous (2xG,3xS,2xB)
5. Critically (1xS, 4xB)
6. Jamster737 (1xS, 1xB)
7. Nohjis (3xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Check: 75% agi, 10% pow, 5% accu, 5% stam, 5% speed

Tomorrow: you guys will be happy: BOXING!!!
