Domestic News:

President Jofroi

Yesterday, MonsieurGuillontine was impeached as President. That want to say that due to game mechanics that the second in the race becomes President and that’s Jofroi. He already made some cabinet changes (not really changes, he only summed up who was still there). Shadowukcs is back Minister of Foreign Affairs and Hollenboer is Minister of Finances. For these last day, let’s hope that Jofroi will do a good job!

President Elections

While Jofroi is celebrating, several people are starting up their president campaigns. Jamster737 (BfB), Mikhail Alexander (RB), splashdog (Om) and Volsem(BK) are running for President. Let’s hope these elections will be nice and fair!

Remove Jofroi as forummoderator ?

Goopypants launched a Congress debate about removing Jofroi from it’s duties as moderator on the national forums. He thinks that jofroi has too much power now. (he’s CP, judge and mod) It seems that the Congress agree with him so it might be his last days as moderator!

Mikhail Alexander is Innocent

Mikhail Alexander has been found innocent by the supreme court for negligence. The Supreme Court decided that he only did what the Minister of Home Affairs asked him to do. Earlier this week, the Supreme Court has decided that prophexy and splashdog were guilty for accepting Irish citizens into Belgium, but no further penalties will follow, the case is closed.

We’re still waiting on the results of the trials of Monsieur Guillontine and shadowukcs!

Macedonia is also a good candidate to PTO them.

Apulia already has sea borders with South Dalmatia, Coast of Montenegro and Ionian Islands. Will it get borders with Albania too?

At least the neighbouring countries of Montenegro, Italy, Greece, Macedonia and above all, for historical reasons, Serbia, will watch them in their foreign policy.

Kosova and Albania are natural allies for cultural reasons (a bit similarly to Belgium and Netherlands, and to a lesser extent, France and maybe Germany/UK).
But it could also be inversely true: quite a few Albanian speakers are in the neighbouring countries.

Strange but good to see admins take commercially riskful stances, many RL Serbs are extremely opposed to an independent Kosovo. But in the end, I think the game better keeps Kosovo a gray area until RL pacification. Albania is a problem for nobody, and RL Kosovars would arguably identify with them.

A nerdy idea is to implement Kosovo as part of Serbia, but with a regional status that permits to form the 'state of Kosovo'. Let's only hope then that Belgium doesn't become a next victim of admin-created civil wars!

Belgium and unity, we could miss territorial threats from the inside.
